An audio visualizer turns sound into moving graphics — bars, waveforms or particles that react to the music in real time. Producers use them to turn a track into something postable on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, since those platforms reward video and won't surface a bare audio file.
No. Audioframe runs entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API and Canvas. Your track is read from disk, analysed, rendered and exported on your own machine. There is no server that receives your media, no account, and nothing to delete afterwards.
That also means large files don't cost you an upload, and nothing is queued behind someone else's render farm.
Open the editor, drop in your track, pick a style and a colour preset, then set the aspect ratio to 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, or 1:1 for a square feed post. Export as MP4 and upload it directly — no conversion step needed.

A transparent (alpha channel) WebM is a video with see-through areas rather than a solid background. Drop one on a timeline in Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or After Effects and the visualizer floats over your own footage instead of sitting on a black rectangle.
Choose WebM as the export format and set the background to None. MP4 cannot carry transparency — that's a limitation of the format, not the tool — so pick MP4 when you're posting straight to social, and WebM when the clip is going into an edit.
Choose MP4 for anywhere you upload directly: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X. It's H.264 with AAC audio and plays everywhere.

Up to 4K (3840×2160 at 16:9, and the equivalent for vertical and square), at 15–60 fps, with adjustable bitrate. The preview runs at a lower resolution so the editor stays at 60fps while you work; the export renders separately at whatever you chose.
Chrome and Edge give the most complete experience, including transparent WebM export. Firefox and Safari work for editing and MP4 export, but Safari's video encoder doesn't preserve an alpha channel, so transparent exports there come out opaque.
Those are hosted services: you upload your track to their servers, render there, and pay a monthly subscription. Audioframe renders locally in your browser, so your music never leaves your machine, there's nothing to sign up for, and true alpha-channel export is available for free.
The trade-off is honest — they have larger template libraries and cloud rendering. Audioframe is faster to start and private by construction.
