Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

The short version: your audio, video and image files never leave your device. Audioframe does all rendering and exporting inside your browser — there is no upload, no account, and no server that ever receives your media. What we do collect is anonymous traffic and feature-usage data, described below.

Your files stay on your device

When you load a track, a video or a background image, the file is read directly by your browser using local object URLs. Audio analysis, canvas rendering, and every export format (MP4, WebM, PNG sequence and single frames) are all computed on your own machine. Your media is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we have no ability to access it.

Exported files are written straight to your device's downloads. We keep no copy.

What is stored in your browser

Audioframe saves a few things in your browser's localStorage so the editor remembers your work between visits:

This data lives only in your browser. It is never sent to a server, and clearing your browser storage removes it permanently.

Analytics

We measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Two tools are involved:

These events describe settings, never content. We do not send file names, file contents, durations of your media, or any text you type into a title or subtitle.

Cloudflare Zaraz, which delivers the analytics above, also sets its own cookies to group these events into sessions so we can see reports such as how many people who load a track go on to export one. It stores a cookie recording your consent choice, and session cookies that expire after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Advertising

The Audioframe landing page may display advertising served by Google AdSense. The editor itself (/app/) carries no ads.

Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Cookies and consent

Cookies are used by Google Analytics, by Cloudflare Zaraz for consent and session grouping, and, where shown, by advertising. Cloudflare Web Analytics sets none. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
